Health & Safety Advisor | £300 -£350 per day | Contract | Mon–Fri 7:30–17:00\n\nWe’re recruiting for a hands-on Health & Safety Advisor to support a large-scale internal refurbishment within a live logistics environment. Working for a consultancy on a major client-side project, you’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance and driving safe delivery across a busy, multi-contractor site.\n\nThis is a fast-paced, high-profile project offering autonomy and visibility — ideal for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor confident working with everyone from operatives through to senior stakeholders.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs the on-site H&S lead, you’ll oversee day-to-day safety performance, embed best practice, and ensure works progress safely in line with CDM regulations.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Lead health & safety across a live, multi-contractor refurbishment project\n\n * Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance checks; report and close out actions\n\n * Review and produce RAMS, risk assessments and method statements\n\n * Deliver toolbox talks and site briefings to drive positive behaviours\n\n * Liaise with site teams and stakeholders to maintain standards and performance\n\n * Investigate incidents and near misses; implement corrective actions\n\n * Maintain accurate site records and manage compliance via digital systems\n\nRequirements\n\n * 7+ years’ experience in a construction/refurbishment H&S role\n\n * NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)\n\n * Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015\n\n * Experience on live sites / client-side environments (desirable)\n\n * IT literate (MS Office, reporting tools, H&S systems)\n\n * Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels\n\n * Comfortable in fast-paced, high-compliance, multi-contractor environments\n\nWhy Join\n\n * £300 -£350 per day (DOE / tax status)\n\n * Freelance engagement (Outside IR35 / CIS / Self-employed options)\n\n * Key role on a high-profile refurbishment project\n\n * Strong project support within an established consultancy
